No one in Italy grows up wanting to be a train driver!   Italy is a feast of wonderfully diverse scenery, from the winding roads round the northern lakes to the mountain passes like Stelvio and Gavia and the coastal drives like the Costiera Amalfitana that will take your breath away.  The country that gave the world some of the best motor racing teams ever, continues to build fantastic sports cars.  Whether you prefer your sports cars to be classic or the very latest technology, then the home of Alfa Romeo, Ferrari, Lamborghini and Maserati is the place to go.

The map shows the location of the various classic and sports car hire companies in Italy.  Click on the appropriate coloured dot and the company details will replace these paragraphs. Clicking on more info.. will take you through to the full page on the company.

Clicking on a different dot will select a different company and change the summary.

If you are looking for a specific car and aren't too worried about the part of the country, just click on Marques and then select the appropriate Marque and then Model from those shown.  You will be presented with a list of all available cars with details of their Location and the hire Company.

Itay the Colosseum in RomeThe Italians don't just love their own cars they love all fine motor cars. So it is only right that you can lap Lake Garda, motor round the Mille Miglia, storm up the Stelvio or just tour Tuscany in anything from an Alfa Spider, a variety of locally produced Fiats, a Mercedes or MG through to a VW Beetle.

You may want to visit the pentagonal Villa Farnese in the small town of Caprarola. In Viterbo, among other sites, is the Park of Monsters where fanciful creatures are sculpted out of the living rock. In Montefiascone, famed for the wine Est, Est, Est, you eat lunch in a park overlooking the Lago di Bolsena. You can reveal to yourself that the Renaissance had more great painters than Raphael, Leonardo and Michelangelo by strolling among the frescos of Sodoma in the cloister of the Abbey of Monte Oliveto Major. What about a stop at the quintessential Renaissance piazza in Pienza. Perhaps you can see yourself eating panforte with a glass of vernaccia in the shadows of the towers of San Gimignano.
